ST. CHARLES -- A man was shot at Chuck E. Cheese's after a dispute among family members, according to police.

Several witnesses reported overhearing 20-year-old Aesian Anunique Clay threaten the family of her 1-year-old daughter at the Chuck E. Cheese's in St. Charles Monday night.

One witness says they heard Clay tell her daughter, "Say you last goodbye to your daddy because he is going to die today."

According to a police report, Clay then got on the phone with her boyfriend to request he bring guns to the family-friendly establishment.

Police say Clay's boyfriend arrived at the restaurant armed with a gun and two accomplices.

The victim was shot in the entrance of the Chuck E. Cheese's and taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police now say the victim is the grandfather of the child.

After the shooting, Clay called her mother to tell her what had happened, according to the report.

Clay admitted to police she called her boyfriend, but has not identified him. Police say they obtained a search warrant for Clay's phone and have obtained several photographs of the suspect.

Police are still searching for the suspect in the shooting.

Clay has been charged with attempted first-degree assault and is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
