ST. LOUIS — A man was injured after being shot multiple times after getting into an argument with someone inside a St. Louis fast-food restaurant Monday night, police say.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened just after 8:15 Monday night at a McDonald's located at 4979 Natural Bridge Avenue in north St. Louis.

Officers with the department responded to the scene and found a man, who was about 46 years old, with three gunshot wounds, one of which was in his arm and another in his lower right side, police said. He was conscious and breathing when officers arrived.

The suspect left the scene after the shooting.
