Schools in Eureka, Lebanon, IL, cancel classes due to flooding

Some schools in Lebanon, Illinois, and Eureka, Missouri, have canceled Monday classes due to flooding in the area.

Some schools in Lebanon, Illinois, and Eureka, Missouri, have canceled Monday classes due to flooding in the area.

The Rockwood Superintendent announced schools in Rockwood's Eureka Quadrant would be closed Monday due to flooding roads and highways in the area. The schools are: 

  • Eureka High School
  • Individualized Learning Center
  • LaSalle Springs Middle
  • Blevins Elementary
  • Geggie Elementary 
  • Eureka Elementary Schools

After-school programs at those schools are also canceled. 

Classes at Lebanon Junior High School and High School will be canceled Monday as well due to flooding in the schools. The High School Art Show will still be held at the school at 6:30 p.m.
