BRENTWOOD, Mo. — Some Brentwood residents may have various water issues early Thursday morning, the city's police department said.

Residents may experience numerous water issues during the replacements, including:

  • No water
  • Low water pressure
  • Discolored water
  • Cloudy water

The water main replacements appear to be happening along South Brentwood Boulevard between Pendleton Avenue and Marshall Avenue, according to Missouri American Water's Customer Advisory Map

"If your water is discolored, run the cold water taps only, at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes until the water runs clear," Missouri American Water said on its website. "You will not receive any further notification unless additional action is required, or conditions change."

Missouri American Water will be conducting planned improvements due to water main replacements beginning at 12 AM...
