1-year-old boy dies from injuries in north city accident

Police responded to the intersection of Riverview Drive and Scranton Avenue around 5:55 p.m. Saturday for a two-vehicle accident

ST. LOUIS — A 1-year-old boy died from his injuries in an accident that happened Saturday evening in north St. Louis.

The accident also killed a 73-year-old woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police responded to the intersection of Riverview Drive and Scranton Avenue around 5:55 p.m. for a two-vehicle accident. According to the police report, the accident was a "t-bone" collision. 

The woman has been identified as Odessa Draper. Police said the boy died from his injuries on Sunday. 

A 2-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy were injured in the accident. Their conditions have not been made available.
