ELLISVILLE, Mo. — Rush Bowls is adding a third St. Louis-area location, set to open by mid-February in Ellisville.

The Boulder, Colorado-based fast-casual restaurant chain is known for its meals in a bowl, crafted from fruit, topped with granola and honey and blended with protein, vitamins and other ingredients. The chain opened its first store in the region in the Central West End in 2018, followed by a second store in Kirkwood in 2019.

The 1,400-square-foot Ellisville store, located at 1350 Clarkson Clayton Center, will be the largest of the three local stores, franchisees Ken and Kim Moroney said. The husband-and-wife duo, who signed with Rush Bowls about seven years ago to open three locations in the St. Louis market, said they don’t have any current plans to open additional stores.
