KSDK - Andrew Honerkamp was born with cerebral palsy. Since his disability prevents him from playing sports, he watches them instead, and dreams of becoming a sports broadcaster.
His classmates at Fort Zumwalt South High School have launched a social media campaign to get him on SportsCenter. That campaign has since transcended the walls of the high school, and people throughout the community -- including at rival schools! -- are using #AndrewOnSportsCenter.

With Andrew Honerkamp making his live broadcasting debut at 6 p.m. Monday on NewsChannel 5, we wanted everyone to have more insight into what makes this young man so special.
So, we asked his friends and teachers to make a "Top 10" list explaining why he should be the next face of SportsCenter.
Top 10 Reasons Why Andrew Should Be On ESPN
10. Andrew has the most school spirit and can put a smile on your face no matter what kind of day you are having!
9. The only student ever to beg his teacher to give Cards updates in class during day games… and she did it!
8. Have you seen his fantasy teams? Any sport, he wins.
7. He has been asked by a local minor league baseball team to help with their radio broadcast
6. He's a funny guy! You have to laugh at life. It isn't fun to be around someone who takes themselves too seriously. Here's a guy who can brighten the darkest of rooms.
5. He is outgoing. The ideal personality for a TV broadcaster looking to entertain as well as educate those who tune in.
4. He has smarts. His is not a one sport man. Ask him anything and chances are, he will have the right answer.
3. He is honest. To be a journalist, readers and audience members have to be able to trust their source. Andrew's passion for sports is true and he wants to share that with you!
2. He is hope. Even though he has a disability, he is proving that you can make the best out of any situation.
And, the number one reason why Andrew should be featured on ESPN's Sports Center.
1. He brought a whole community together for something great. He's showing kids to never give up on their dreams. No matter how big or small they are.
Other notable reasons that did not make the list: not afraid of hard work, brings originality and the fan perspective, and he is a passionate, team player.
