The 'nicest man in stand-up' is rescheduling his upcoming St. Louis shows. Here's why

He has been called "the nicest man in stand-up."

ST. LOUIS — A popular comedian was scheduled to appear in St. Louis this week but is rescheduling for a good reason.

Nate Bargatze was going to do stand-up at The Fabulous Fox Theater for three performances: Oct. 24, 25 and 27.

Then, Bargatze was picked to host "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 28. The Foo Fighters are scheduled to be the musical guest. The "SNL" host works with the writers and the cast during the week leading up to the live show, so Bargatze was called to New York City.

Bargatze is known for clean comedy and great storytelling. He has two Netflix specials and released a comedy special on Prime Video in January that became Amazon's biggest comedy special debut.

Pete Davidson hosted the first show back since the spring. Bad Bunny hosted on Oct. 21. Bargatze will host the third episode of the season. The fans were excited to see Bargatze selected as host. The musical guests sometimes appear in skits so we might see some Dave Grohl cameos.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga have made surprise appearances on SNL this season alone.

"Saturday Night Live" airs at 10:30 p.m. on 5 On Your Side.

The St. Louis stand-up shows were rescheduled for June 2024. The Oct. 24 show will be June 22. The Oct. 25 show will be June 23. The Oct. 23 show will be June 21.

If you have tickets and can't make the new dates, refunds could be requested through Nov. 16.
