15 in custody of ICE, final person in custody

UPDATE: According to the Eureka Police Department the final subject from yesterdays manhunt is now in custody.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – More than a dozen people have been detained near Eureka Thursday morning.

Sky 5 saw 13 people in handcuffs along Interstate 44 near Six Flags Road around 9 a.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, they are undocumented immigrants and could not provide any paperwork to officials.

They were handed over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, who took them to the Downtown St. Louis ICE office.

Two people fled the scene into a nearby wooded area. Around 10 a.m., officers located one of the men that fled.

It's not clear why police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.
