ST. CHARLES, Mo. — The St. Charles man who admitted to killing his uncle will be behind bars for 15 years after reaching a deal with prosecutors.
Nicholas Preli pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter armed criminal action and tampering with evidence.
Early last year he admitted to shooting his uncle on his far and then burning his body in a woodpile.
Preli it stemmed from a fight after his uncle yelled at him for putting ruts in a gravel driveway with an ATV.
