CAHOKIA, Ill. — A student and an instructor were inside a helicopter when it crashed at the St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia, Illinois, Thursday afternoon, but no one was hurt.
A spokeswoman for the airport said they were training on the secondary runway when they crashed at around 2:40.
No one was injured. The FAA will investigate the crash.
The primary runway is open for flights.
