ARNOLD, Mo. - The Arnold police officer shot by a burglary suspect in December was taken off a ventilator and is breathing on his own.
According to a post on the Arnold Police Department Facebook, Officer Ryan O'Connor made some small but significant improvements.
The post said he was breathing on his own. They are still asking for thoughts and prayers, but are pleased with the progress.
