TROY, Mo - Protesters partially blocked part of highway 61 in Troy, Mo this afternoon.
The protest was originally held at the Lincoln County Detention Center in unison with the other "Families Belong Together" rallies happening around the country.
The rallies are in response to family separation at the border.
Troy police say the highway was never actually shut down, and that police blocked one lane in order to keep protesters safe.
