There’s a new spot in St. Louis County where your dog can get pampered

Dogtopia will host a grand opening party on Nov. 10 from noon to 4 p.m. Stray Rescue will bring along adoptable pups and Purina will bring gift bags for guests.

ELLISVILLE, Mo. – There’s a new spot in St. Louis County where you can take your pup for daycare, boarding and to get pampered.

Dogtopia is located at 15400 Manchester Road in Ellisville and is open as of Monday, Oct. 29.

The new location is owned by entrepreneur and St. Louis native, Nick Losciuto. After adopting a dog, Losciuto wanted to open a place where dogs would have the most exciting day while in a safe environment.

Dogtopia will host a grand opening party on Nov. 10 from noon to 4 p.m. Stray Rescue will bring along adoptable pups and Purina will bring gift bags for guests.

The new Dogtopia will also be fostering a few pups from Stray Rescue until they’re adopted.

Pet parents will be walked through an 11-stop tour to see the facility while their pups are evaluated for Dogtopia’s open-play environment. Dogtopia employs webcam technology in each playroom that allows pet parents to check on their pups from anywhere.

“We are thrilled to bring Dogtopia to the neighborhood and provide much-needed care for dogs in the area,” said Losciuto. “Our mission is to create the most exciting day ever for pups, while giving their parents peace of mind while they’re away. Instead of being left alone at home or in an isolated kennel environment, Dogtopia provides an opportunity for our furry children to meet new friends, get exercise, enjoy playtime and have quality human interaction while at daycare.”

Each playroom at Dogtopia offers fun for dogs of similar size and temperament. There’s also compressed rubber flooring to ease joints, prevent slipping and promote safer play. Their HVAC system is designed to eliminate bad bacteria. Every area is cleaned routinely and solely with dog-safe products. Dogtopia’s fees are all-inclusive – meals are prepared according to each pet parent’s direction.

“We understand the dogs in our care are more than just pets – they’re members of the family,” added Losciuto. “Our employees are meticulously trained to take every measure possible to guarantee their comfort, safety and meet all of their needs.”
