Scratchers ticket sold in St. Louis County wins $100K prize

HAZELWOOD, Mo. — A lucky lottery player won big with a scratcher purchased in St. Louis County.

The player won a $100,000 prize on a ticket worth just $5, according to a news release from the Missouri Lottery.

The "Money Rush" ticket was sold at Royal Liquor, located at 7927 North Lindbergh Blvd. in Hazelwood, according to the Missouri Lottery.

They weren't the only lucky lottery player in St. Louis County to take home a prize, according to the lottery. Players in the county won more than $207.7 million in prizes in 2023. 

Retailers received over $20 million in commissions and bonuses last year, and $76 million in proceeds went to educational programs, according to the lottery.
