LADUE, Mo. — There is a lot to be egg-cited about this Easter at Treats Unleashed!
From 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, this Saturday, March 30, thousands of colorful eggs stuffed with dog treats will be scattered across the lawn adjacent to Treats Unleashed Ladue for St. Louis' largest pet Easter egg hunt for dogs and their peeps.
Teresa Miller, the owner and founder of Treats Unleashed says the annual event is growing. "This year is gonna be even bigger than last year. We've got pictures with the Easter Bunny. We've got all kinds of fun things, along with the DJ to kind of keep the atmosphere going. It's a total party!"
It's a party for a cause! It only costs $5 to enter the hunt and all proceeds go to the St. Louis English Bulldog Rescue!
"That's been part of our mission, the whole 20 years we've been in existence, making sure that we're working with local rescues. Finding dogs their forever homes, making sure that pets thrive. We're really proud to be working with the St. Louis English Bulldog Rescue again this year. Their volunteers will all help us with the hunt, and it's a really big fundraiser for them," Miller says.
There will be three hunt times this year, one at 9:30 am, one at 11:00 am, and one at 12:30 pm. There is a small, medium, and large category for each time slot.
If you can't make the egg hunt, you can still celebrate your furry friend by putting together an Easter basket at any Treats Unleashed location!
"Pets are part of the family. So, while you're doing Easter baskets for the kids, maybe your pets or your kids, maybe you have grand dogs, an Easter basket is the perfect thing to do. We've got toys, we've got treats, we've got all kinds of things to go in your pet's Easter basket, dog or cat," she says.
