Sponsored: Embrace Sustainable Wood Practices: Missouri Forest Products Association

The association encourages the use and conservation of Missouri's trees.

ST. LOUIS — Missouri Forest Products Association is helping to improve lives and make homes better. The association encourages using and conserving Missouri's number one natural resource, trees.

Thursday morning, the Association's Executive Director, Brian Brookshire, joined Mary Caltrider in the studio to share the importance of Missouri's forests, discuss how trees are a renewable resource, and how cutting down a tree isn't always bad.

To help share some quick facts, Brookshire brought a giant Jenga game where each wood block has a fun fact about trees and the other side tells you which type of tree it is.
