Dial 811 before you dig. Learn about public safety tips.

MISSOURI, USA — Did you know that Missouri has a 3-digit phone number that you can call to learn about safe digging? It's called Missouri 8-1 1.  It serves as the point of contact for all public underground facilities throughout the state. If your simple home improvement project involves digging, you must contact your state’s 811 center a few days before breaking ground.

Friday morning, Missouri 811's Executive Director Randy Norden, joined Mary Caltrider in the studio to share all about their services, why you should call before you dig, and the dangers of not calling.
