Sponsored: Support CASA of Jefferson County

This segment helps to raise awareness of the program and how it helps children in foster care in Jefferson County.

HILLSBORO, Mo. — The Court Appointed Special Advocates in Jefferson County, also known as CASA, is an organization that works with foster children to help them feel safe, loved, and embraced.

Children in foster care need someone to be their voice and advocate for them. Monday morning, CASA's Executive Director, Alicia Knickman, joined Mary Caltrider live in the studio to discuss the importance of their program and how you can get involved.

CASA comprises a network of volunteers who believe every child should be treated with dignity and respect and thrive in a loving family.
