Recipe: Turkey and Dressing Quiche by Missouri Egg Council

Put those Thanksgiving leftovers to good use!

Turkey and Dressing Quiche

Ingredients:

1 box Stove Top Stuffing Mix (or 3 cups leftover dressing)

1 cup turkey, cooked and diced

¼ cup sliced green onions

1 cup grated Swiss cheese

5 eggs

1 (5 ½ ounce) can evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Prepare stuffing mix as directed. Press into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate to form a crust. Parbake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes until brown. Remove from oven and reduce heat to 350 degrees.

Arrange turkey, green onions and cheese over stuffing. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over all. Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until center is set and a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or at room temperature with cranberry sauce on the side.
