Career Central: 3 job fairs set for Wednesday, Oct. 11

One is in the Dutchtown neighborhood, another is in St. Charles and the third is sponsored by MERS Goodwill.

Dutchtown Neighborhood Job Fair

The first job fair goes right to the heart of a St. Louis Neighborhood.

Join 'Dutchtown Main Streets,' and SLATE Missouri Job Center for the Dutchtown Neighborhood Job Fair.

It's from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Thomas Dunn Learning Center at Marquette Park, 3113 Gasconade St.

St. Charles County government to host job fair

St. Charles County Government is in the midst of a big hiring push.

It has openings across 30 departments, and you can find out more at an in-person job fair on Wednesday, Oct.11.

It runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Missouri Job Center of St. Charles County, 3757 Harry S Truman Blvd., St. Charles, Missouri.

The greatest need right now is for 911 dispatchers, corrections officers and skilled laborers for the highway department.

These jobs come with competitive pay, excellent benefits and a retirement pension.

Job seekers don’t have to wait for Oct. 11 to see what’s available.

MERS Goodwill wants to connect you with local employers

MERS Missouri Goodwill will host a free career fair for everyone from experienced professionals to those just embarking on a job search journey.

It happens from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the MERS Goodwill headquarters located at 1727 Locust St.

Bring plenty of resumes as this is an in-person event that will bring you face-to-face with potential employers.

Jobs are up for grabs in many fields including accounting, childcare and HR, just to name a few.
