Bridgeton road rage shooting leaves 1 injured, supsects at large

BRIDGETON, Mo. — Two suspects are at large after a road rage shooting left one person injured, the Bridgeton Police Department said.

The shooting happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 270 near St. Charles Rock Road just before 1 p.m., Captain Dennis Fitzgerald with the department told 5 On Your Side. A man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries from wounds he suffered from the shooting.

The only information police had regarding potential suspects was a white SUV with unknown license tags occupied by two men who were last seen heading northbound on the interstate.
