Man arrested in drug deal turned shooting murder at St. Louis' Barrett Brothers Park in November

Man found dead at St. Louis' Barrett Brothers Park

ST. LOUIS — Police arrested a St. Louis man Tuesday following a homicide investigation that was underway in November after a man was found dead at St. Louis' Barrett Brothers Park.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said an at-large warrant was issued against Terrell McDaniel, 41, by the United States Attorney's Office for 'using a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and in the course thereof causing death.' According to online court documents, he was taken into custody last week.

Police said the Homicide Division was requested at about 8 a.m. on Nov. 3. A man was found with a gunshot wound to his head at the park located near St. Louis and Hamilton avenues. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as Andre Jermaine Nash, 42, of St. Louis.
