According to court documents, Dasher beat her 13-month-old son, Tyler, to death because he would not stop crying and go back to bed, and she dumped the body in a wooded area near the intersection of River Des Peres Road and Olde English Road.

Dasher then filed a missing child report, which triggered a SARAA Alert. His body was found later that same day.

This past weekend, Dasher's boyfriend, Edgar Rivas, was arrested and charged with abandonment of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
