These St. Louis businesses are offering deals for essential workers

Businesses in the area are offering deals to health care workers, first responders and other essential employees during the coronavirus outbreak

ST. LOUIS — There are a few businesses in the St. Louis area offering deals for health care workers, first responders and other essential employees who are still going to work during the coronavirus outbreak.

We made a list of local businesses are offering deals:

Le Meridien St. Louis Clayton

Le Meridien St. Louis Clayton, opening this summer in downtown Clayton, is offering a special rate of $63 for medical professionals.

The standard rate for the hotel is $259, according to a hotel spokesperson.

Bookings can be made starting May 6, National Nurses Day, until May 31 for stays from Oct. 26 to April 17, 2021.

The $63 rate is in honor of 1863, when formal nurses training began in the U.S. at the Women’s Hospital of Philadelphia, according to a press release.

Medical professionals will need to present either a hospital badge or business card with driver’s license to receive the discounted rate.

Oak Brook Golf Club

Oak Brook Golf Club in Edwardsville, Illinois, is offering free golf for police officers, first responders and hospital workers.

To schedule a tee time call 618-656-5600 and make sure to bring a job I.D. when you come to the club.

Adidas

Adidas is offering 40% off to verified medical professionals, first responders, nurses and military members.

Lion's Choice

Lion's Choice is offering 55% off any order at Lion’s Choice for all health care workers and first responders through the end of April.

Dunkin'

Dunkin' is offering a free hot or iced medium coffee and a doughnut for nurses and healthcare professionals on May 6.

Starbucks 

Starbucks is offering free coffee for first responders and health care workers nationwide until May 3.

Dollar General

Dollar General is offering medical workers, National Guardsmen and first responders 10% off storwide through April 30.

You must show a work badge or ID to be eligible.

Medical personnel, activated National Guardsmen and first responders receive 10% off storewide, every day. We are dedicating the first hour each day to our senior and at-risk customers.

BP/Amoco

BP says it is offering 50 cents off per gallon to first responders and health care workers for their next fill-up at a BP or Amoco gas stations.

According to BP, the discount is being offered this month to first responders, doctors, nurses and hospital workers to thank them for their efforts amid the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Tiger Express Wash

Tiger Express Wash is offering free Black & Gold car washes until April 30 for all healthcare workers, first responders, doctors, nurses and medical staff. Healthcare workers need to show a proper ID to a cashier. The offer will be good through April.

Rottler Pest

Rottler Pest Solutions is offering 20% off a regular-priced initial service for first responders and health care workers when signing up for a new program
