Spinoffs of two St. Louis restaurants to open in Westport Plaza

You won't have to travel downtown to experience these local restaurants.

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Two restaurants are getting ready to open at Westport Plaza.

Editor's Note: The above video aired Nov. 17, 2022.

Soda Fountain Express will feature the same menu and aesthetics of The Soda Fountain, a modern soda shop known for its burgers and milkshakes which opened in 2019 in Union Station, but it will be tailored to “faster, lunch-style” service.

Located on the 12th floor of Westport Plaza’s “gold tower,” 360 Westport will sit about 200 feet lower than 360 Downtown STL, which offers views of the Gateway Arch, the St. Louis Wheel and Busch Stadium from 400 feet up.

While 360 West will offer a similar indoor/outdoor experience as 360 Downtown STL, the Westport location will be less exposed to the outdoors. Guests will be able to walk throughout the space, which will feature a 22-seat bar and open kitchen.

Exact opening dates for the restaurants, which have been in the works since September 2022, haven’t been announced.
