ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Two developments focused around new pickleball facilities are planned in St. Louis County.

A group of developers has submitted a zoning application to Maryland Heights for Westport Pickleball Club, an indoor, membership-based pickleball facility to be located inside an existing industrial facility at 11675 Fairgrove Industrial Blvd. It would have 14 courts, according to the zoning application from Tim Butz and James Carlton of CBsports LLC, the developer behind the project.

The 49,950-square-foot industrial building is for sale for $3.8 million, according to an online listing. The development team behind the pickleball club is seeking to lease the facility, said the broker for the 10-acre property, Noel Fehr, managing director and principal of CCP Commercial Real Estate LLC of Clayton.
