BELLEVILLE, Ill. — A man was struck and killed by a train in Belleville Saturday morning.
At around 7:19 a.m., police responded to West Main Street and South 27th Street for a report of a fatal accident involving a train hitting a pedestrian.
A 61-year-old man was struck and killed.
Police said no foul play is suspected.
