Cardinals Care donates to 59 local nonprofit groups

ST. LOUIS — Cardinals Care is hosting a grant ceremony and will donate over $126,000 to 59 nonprofit groups that support local kids on Tuesday, May 7 at Busch Stadium.

The ceremony will include Cardinals players, Fredbird, administrators from the club and hundreds of children from many different organizations that will benefit from this foundation.

The event starts at 3 p.m. with a check-in time of 2:30 at Gate 3. 

Cardinals Care was created to give fans a way of teaming up with Cardinals players and for the organization to help children in the St. Louis community.

The organization has distributed over $12 million in grants in non-profits for over 20 years.
