CBC's Caleb Love receives offer from North Carolina

Love, who's part of the 2020 class, has received offers to play for several schools including Mizzou and Illinois.

TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. – The North Carolina Tar Heels have offered Christian Brothers College High School basketball star, Caleb Love, a scholarship.

Love, who's part of the 2020 class, has received offers to play for several schools including Mizzou and Illinois. 5 On Your Side’s Josh Helmuth talked to Love in January. “I’m always on ‘go.’ I’m never satisfied," he said. “I’m always in the gym. I don’t think anyone works harder than me,” He said.

His coach, Justin Tatum, said Caleb is in the one percent of athletes who have the combined talent and drive to be something special.

“It’s just extra work that you see most kids who really want it don’t normally do, and he’s doing it," Tatum said. “He’s a very exciting player. Athletic. He loves his teammates. His teammates love him. He’s very gifted and he works on his craft and he knows what he has."
