St. Louis-area players had big days from a clutch interception to touchdowns to several field goals.

ST. LOUIS — Several St. Louis-area graduates had big days in the National Football League over the weekend. 

During Week 6, several St. Louis-area players were in the spotlight and headlines for their team and the NFL. These players had big days from a clutch interception to touchdowns to several field goals. 

Here's a breakdown of big moments for St. Louis NFL players:

Tony Adams 

The Saint Louis University High School graduate intercepted Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Adams' interception helped the New York Jets erase an 11-point deficit to beat the Eagles 20-14, improving to 3-3.

Ezekiel Elliot 

The running back and John Burroughs graduate had a touchdown for the struggling New England Patriots on Sunday. The Patriots lost the the Las Vegas Raiders 21-17.

AJ Epenesa 

The Edwardsville graduate had a sack for the Buffalo Bills on primetime television Sunday night against the New York Giants.

Jack Fox 

A punter for the Lions and Ladue graduate had 180 punt years for the team on Sunday against the Buccaneers. 

Sam LaPorta

A rookie for the Detroit Lions continued to make a name for himself on Sunday. He had four receptions for 36 yards against the Buccaneers. 

The Highland graduate made history earlier this season by becoming the first NFL tight end to catch at least five passes in each of his first three games.

Foyesade Oluokun 

The 28-year-old helped the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Indianapolis Colts 37-20 with 15 tackles. He is a graduate of John Burroughs School and played with Ezekiel Elliot.

Riley Patterson 

The Detroit Lions kicker and Edwardsville graduate made two field goals in the team's win over the Buccanneers.

Jameson Williams 

A Cardinal Ritter graduate and Detroit Lions wide receiver helped the team improve to 5-1 for the first time in 12 years with a big day on Sunday. He had a 45-yard touchdown catch in the 20-6 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kyren Williams 

The Vianney graduate and Los Angeles Rams running back ran for 158 yards and had a touchdown in the team's 26-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
