Restaurant in Soulard abruptly closes for good

ST. LOUIS — A French restaurant in St. Louis’ Soulard neighborhood has abruptly closed.

808 Maison announced on Facebook it closed on Tuesday.

‘Regretfully, we have discontinued service at 808 Maison and would like to thank everyone who has supported us. Please come visit us at Molly’s in Soulard!’

'Oh no, best French onion soup in town. I’m going to miss it.' Philip Hanley said on the post.

'We will miss you. Best sauces in town. Great atmosphere. Way too soon.' Rita Winters said.

The restaurant opened in January of this year.
