Man dead after triple shooting at north St. Louis bar

The shooting happened at the Upper Level Restaurant & Lounge.

ST. LOUIS — A man is dead and two others were hurt after an early-morning triple shooting inside a bar in north city's Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said it responded to a shooting at Upper Level Restaurant & Lounge on the 2500 block of N Grand Boulevard.

Police said one of the victims, a 47-year-old man, told them he was sitting at the bar when he heard gunshots and felt a pain in his leg. He ran from the bar and collapsed outside of it. He was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Police found a 44-year-old man inside the bar with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died. Police identified him Sunday as Larry Mosley.

The third victim, a 41-year-old man, was shot in the abdomen and took himself to a hospital. Police did not give his condition but said his vitals were stable.

A homicide investigation is underway.
