O'FALLON, Mo. — Ingram Micro Inc., a provider of information technology products and services, is shuttering a St. Louis-area facility and laying off the workers there.

The California-based company is permanently closing its entire operation at 6705 Keaton Corporate Parkway in O'Fallon, Missouri, on or before June 28, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice filed Wednesday with the state of Missouri.

It's expected that 60 total employees will be affected, with four to be terminated Friday, another 23 on April 26 and 33 on June 28, officials said in a letter Monday. The jobs affected include logistics, quality and repair associates, as well as operations, human resources and software development workers.

The employees are not represented by a union, nor do they have bumping rights, according to the notice.

The company didn't give a reason for the O'Fallon facility's closure in its filing with the state.
