ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A man was hit and killed by a car in north St. Louis County late Saturday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed.
At 11:55 p.m., a 32-year-old woman was driving on Evergreen Boulevard near Airport Road in Berkeley when she hit a man who was lying on the road, the patrol reported. The woman immediately pulled over and called for help.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as 34-year-old Oney Hellems.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has not released any further details at this time.
