ST. LOUIS — Charnija Keys killed after she was shot in the head in June.

Neighbors told 5 On Your Side the 11-year-old girl was shot inside her own home in north St. Louis. She was rushed to a hospital where she died from her injuries. Investigators are calling the shooting suspicious.

"She had a lot of friends, she was popular over here, everybody knew her, you know, it just hurt to know that something like this happened to a girl that was 11-years-old," said one friend of the family.
