ST. LOUIS — Rain at times across the Bi-State region is expected Thursday night and Friday.

This system is stalled out and should hang around through Friday with waves of showers and a few thunderstorms with the potential of some heavier downpours. Severe weather is not anticipated for the metro, but upwards of 1-2 more inches of rainfall could drench parts of the area.

All of the wet weather is expected to clear away Friday night and for the upcoming weekend with much cooler air in place: 40s for the mornings and 60s for highs on Saturday, Sunday will be closer to 70. It's the perfect weekend to head to the pumpkin patch.
