ST. LOUIS — A teenager was fatally shot in the face Sunday evening in St. Louis, police investigators said.
The fatal shooting happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the 800 block of O'Fallon Street, three blocks north of the Dome at America's Center in the city's Columbus Square neighborhood.
Police identified the victim Monday as 17-year-old Jamorie Cannon.
More information may be forthcoming further into the investigation.
According to 5 On Your Side records, Cannon was the sixth juvenile shot in St. Louis this year and the second juvenile homicide.
