ST. LOUIS — After severe weather Thursday produced nine confirmed tornadoes around the St. Louis area, a quiet pattern has returned for the weekend.
A mix of sun and clouds can be expected for the next few days. Jacket weather is back. Lows will be in the 30s to low 40s. High temperatures will be in the low 60s. As the winds diminish overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, some of the coldest areas may see some frost. That may happen again early Monday morning, mainly east of the metro area.
Temperatures will be below average through the weekend. Next week, we will see temperatures climbing back into the 70s for highs with our next chance of rain and storms later in the week.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, staying cool. Highs in the low 60s.
Saturday night: Mostly clear with some scattered areas of frost. Lows in the mid 30s to around 40.
Sunday: Mostly sunny...highs in the low 60s.
Monday: Mostly sunny...highs near 70.
Tuesday: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with showers developing. Highs in the low 70s.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Highs near 70.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, clouds increase, slim rain chance. Highs around 70.
Friday: Partly sunny, scattered storms...highs in the low to mid 70s.
Saturday: Partly sunny, scattered storms...highs in the mid 70s.
